Over time, Architecture has been demonetised through various means, with the value of what we do and the ability to monetise the huge benefits to individuals and society becoming harder and harder. 

Couple with this todays macro economic situation presents challenges for the future of the profession. Being aware of global monetary issues is important in being able to make future decisions about our profession and individual practices.

With recent developments in technology opportunities arise by which we can look at ways of capturing value and monetising the great depth of knowledge, creativity and ingenuity that the profession provides. 

Distributed ledger, blockchain, smart contracts and tokenisation arguably may provide new and innovative ways by which we can re-establish the value proposition of our profession.
