Duration: 01:14:15

This talk addresses the topic: National Construction Code

This presentation will examine the significant changes for the NCC 2022 and Section J in particular.
In 2023, the commencement of the NCC 2022 will bring significantly tougher targets and new analysis tools for many aspects including energy, GHG emissions and thermal comfort. The new NatHERS targets in NSW (under BASIX) and in other states (under the NCC) are all rising dramatically from 2023 onwards, and this will forever change the way that buildings are designed, tested, detailed and built.
Other changes to the NCC and Section J include energy targets, NatHERS targets, ‘’whole-of-home’’ analysis, restructuring of clauses and much more.
