BASIX - 2023 & Beyond: MP2307

PRESENTER
Martin Pinson
Formal CPD
2 Hours - FORMAL CPD
AU$119.90
Duration: 01:14:55

This presentation will examine the dramatic changes (recent and imminent) to the BASIX tool, the Sustainable Buildings SEPP and much more.

In 2023, BASIX will introduce significantly tougher targets and more rigorous analysis tools for many aspects including energy, materials, water and thermal comfort. Similarly, the NCC 2022 is set to have some huge changes to its targets for thermal comfort, energy efficiency and Section J.

The new NatHERS targets in NSW (under BASIX) and other states (under the NCC) are all rising dramatically from 2023 onwards, and this will cause a significant shift in the way that dwellings are designed, tested, detailed and built.

Other changes to BASIX include energy targets, white goods, materials, embodied carbon and more.
