Duration: 01:27:26
This presentation provides an overview of State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008 (the Codes SEPP)inclusive of the changes brought in February 2011.
The Codes SEPP provides for exempt development - minor works around the home which can proceed without the need for planning or construction approval - and complying development - a 10 day approval alternative to a DA and CC. The policy applies across NSW and provides a consistent set of development types and development controls between different councils.
The Codes SEPP has been in place since February 2009 and has been expanded to cover different developments since that date. The presentation provides a snapshot of the policy explaining where it applies and what the development standards are for receiving 10 day approval for a house.
